Jaguar for a Day

EverBank, Community PedsCare and the Jaguars teamed up to create a memory of a lifetime for Taubri Jackson and his family.  Taubri, age 14, was a "Jaguar for a Day" and was a part of the team's training camp practice on July 30, 2014.

A huge fan of the Jaguars, Taubri lives with Mitochondrial Encephalopathy. He was admitted to the Community PedsCare program in 2006 after a series of strokes caused by his condition.

Yesterday, Taubri was awarded a team jersey and then spent time on the field with his grandmother and a close friend.  After a visit to the Jaguars' locker room, Taubri headed off to attend practice.  At training camp, Taubri discussed the game plan with Jaguars general manager David Caldwell, head coach Gus Bradley and the entire Jaguars team, and watched the team run through their practice.

"EverBank and Community PedsCare have worked closely together for many years," said Curt Cunkle, EverBank's president of North Florida banking.  "The Jaguar for a Day experience is a celebration of Taubri's journey and how he inspires us each and every day."

When asked about being a Jaguar for a Day, Taubri smiled and said, "It was awesome!"
