The Jacksonville Jaguars have linked up with 89 Los Originals, a local fashion brand, to create NFL-licensed merchandise for fans ahead of the upcoming football season. The collaboration, "Since '95: A Premium Collection for the Premium Fan," will be available to Jaguars fans through a series of four merchandise launches beginning Sept. 4, also known in Northeast Florida as 904 Day.
The first drop, a limited-edition Jaguars' branded all-over print shirt, can be purchased at the Miller Electric Center Pro Shop on 904 Day with the store opening at 9:04 a.m. for the occasion. Fans can also order items as they are available online at 89LosOriginals.com.
The designer behind 89 Los Originals, Carlos Foster, is a native of Jacksonville's Outeast community, a historic neighborhood adjacent to the stadium complex. His brand specializes in "urban vintage" clothing, inspired by the Golden Era of Hip-Hop. Foster and his son, Carlos Foster, Jr., were also featured in the team's 2024 schedule release video, which also pays homage to the 1995 inaugural season.
This is the second collaboration between the Jaguars and a local fashion designer under the National Football League's local designer collaboration initiative. Through the partnership, the designer is able to become an NFL licensee allowing them to sell their products in NFL retail stores and/or online. The previous collaboration was with Ponte Vedra Beach-based Lafavre, which developed a Jaguars' collection available during the 2023 season.
