Jacksonville, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation today announced Insurance Office America (IOA) as the new presenting sponsor of the 6th Annual 5K Stadium Challenge.  This year's race will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21 at EverBank Field in support of the Foundation's youth sports and fitness programs in Northeast Florida. Set under the stadium lights, the course is entirely within and around EverBank Field and the all-new Daily's Place. One of Jacksonville's most unique 5K runs given its one-of-a-kind location, participants get to take on the challenge of running up and down stadium ramps, through the practice fields and stadium tunnels and around the field as they see themselves cross the finish line on two of the world's largest video boards. New to the course this year, participants will get a chance to run through the Daily's Place amphitheater and flex field, the indoor practice facility of the Jaguars.  The post-race party will be held in the south end zone, where all race participants will receive one free 10 oz. beer or beverage.

"Runners just don't get the opportunity to run a course like this very often.  This unique course is designed not only to challenge you but it should be lots of fun," said Doug Alred, owner of 1st Place Sports.  "It showcases the sports complex in a way no other race can. With the race in the evening under the lights and a chance to explore the all-new Daily's Place, it is sure to be an incredible experience for all."

In addition to the 5K, there will be a one mile fun run and a corporate wave.  All 5K participants will receive an official Jaguars 5K Stadium Challenge technical shirt and a custom designed finisher medal. One mile fun run participants will receive a fun run medal and t-shirt.  Guests are welcome to cheer on friends and family members. Activities for the entire family and a variety of different food and beverage vendors will be present. All are welcome to attend the post-race party in the south end zone.

All proceeds will go directly to the Jaguar Foundation's youth sports and fitness programs in northeast Florida as part of the Jaguars PLAY 60 initiative.
