JACKSONVILLE – Tyler Patmon will start a second consecutive preseason game.
Tyler Shatley will start Saturday, too.
Those were two of the bigger announcements made by the Jaguars shortly before the team's Preseason Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons at TIAA Bank Field Saturday night.
Patmon will start for cornerback A.J. Bouye a week after he started in place of the Jaguars' other All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Shatley will start for center Brandon Linder, who missed Saturday with a knee injury sustained in Preseason Week 2 last Saturday against Minnesota.
Linder and Bouye were among six Jaguars players ruled out about an hour and a half before kickoff Saturday. Safety Ronnie Harrison also will miss Saturday's game along with linebacker Donald Payne, nose tackle Eli Ankou (knee) and defensive end Dawuane Smoot (ankle).
Ankou and Smoot both missed the first two preseason games. Harrison played the first two preseason games, starting in Week 2 against Minnesota in place of free safety Tashaun Gipson.
The Jaguars also announced that Marcell Dareus will start at nose tackle. He missed the Minnesota game with a pectoral injury.
