JACKSONVILLE – Their starting running back will miss a second consecutive game.
That's not the only place the Jaguars must adapt. In addition to running back Leonard Fournette, starting right guard A.J. Cann and nickel corner D.J. Hayden also will miss Sunday's AFC South game against the Tennessee Titans at TIAA Bank Field.
Fournette will miss a second consecutive game with a hamstring injury sustained in a Week 1 victory over the New York Giants. Cann will miss with a triceps injury sustained against New England last week, and Hayden sustained a toe injury late last week.
T.J. Yeldon, who entered the weekend listed as questionable with an ankle injury, will start a second consecutive game for Fournette. Chris Reed will start for Cann and Tyler Patmon is expected to move into Hayden's nickel role.
The Jaguars also will have Corey Grant and Brandon Wilds active at running back. Active reserve linemen will be interior lineman Tyler Shatley and guard/tackle Josh Walker.
Rookie Tre Herndon will be the lone healthy reserve corner after Patmon on Sunday. The Jaguars also have played rookie safety Ronnie Harrison at nickel in the first two weeks of the season.
Cornerback Jalen Ramsey entered the weekend questionable with an ankle injury. He is expected to start against Tennessee.
Four other Jaguars players also were declared inactive an hour and a half before Sunday's 1 p.m. kickoff: wide receiver Rashad Greene Sr., offensive tackle Will Richardson Jr., nose tackle Eli Ankou and defensive end Dawuane Smoot.
