HOLLIS NAMED AFC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jacksonville Jaguars placekicker Mike Hollis has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Jaguars' 29-27 victory over the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday. He received the honor for the second time this year and third time in his career. Hollis set a personal best by scoring 17 points in the game. He kicked five field goals in five attempts, as well as two extra points, and he has now made his last 16 field goal attempts for the third-longest streak in the NFL.

"The field goals that Mike kicked last week were obviously a major contributor to the win and instrumental in keeping the point differential in our favor," said Jaguars special teams coordinator Larry Pasquale. "Mike has great confidence right now in the way he's kicking. All over the league, with the closeness of games, every kick proves to be of utmost importance. Mike has a lot of confidence in his holder, Bryan Barker, and his snapper, Dave Widell, and that is helping with his confidence."
