Fans are invited to TIAA Bank Field on Sunday to see the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the team's first regular season game of the 25th season in franchise history. The game kicks off at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast by CBS locally on WJAX and on radio on WJXL (1010AM, 92.5 FM) and 99.9 FM Gator Country.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive early and be in their seats by 12:30 p.m. to participate in all pregame ceremonies, including a celebration of the NFL's 100th season featuring a tribute video shown concurrently at all NFL stadiums hosting Kickoff Weekend games.  Sunday's game is presented by TIAA Bank and the first 50,000 fans through the gates will receive a Jaguars car flag.

THE FIRST DUUUVAL

This week, TIAA Bank Field welcomes legendary former DT John Henderson to lead fans in the First DUUUVAL of the game.  Henderson, who received national notoriety for his pregame prep routine which involved an athletic trainer slapping him in the face, is a fan favorite in Duval. Henderson played eight seasons for the Jaguars, amassing 426 tackles, 29.0 sacks and eight forced fumbles in 124 career games for Jacksonville. He earned two Pro Bowl selections during his tenure with the Jaguars. Henderson will take the microphone for the game day tradition at approximately 12:50 p.m. to get fans ready for the game. The First DUUUVAL is presented by Duval Motor Company.

JAGUARS ALL-25 FEATURED PLAYER

In celebration of the team's 25th season, the team unveiled the Jaguars All-25 presented by Sharpie, a collection of the top 25 non-active players in franchise history, as voted on by members of the local media. A member of the Jaguars All-25 will be featured at each home game, continuing this Sunday with former LB Paul Posluszny, who was named No. 11. Posluszny, who served as a team captain for five seasons in Jacksonville, joined the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent on July 29, 2011 and appeared in 100 games for Jacksonville, posting 984 tackles to rank second in franchise history. Posluszny totaled 11 INTs during his tenure with the Jaguars, a team record for a LB. Posluszny will serve as an honorary captain for the game and sign autographs for fans from 11:30 a.m. – noon in the Lycamobile Fan Entertainment Zone presented by PRI Productions.

GAME DAY ENTERTAINMENT

Following team introductions, this week's national anthem will be performed by local television star Matthew Johnson, who finished in the Top 24 of season 16 of "The Voice" on NBC. Kinsey Radloff, a member of THE ROAR, will interpret for the hearing impaired. The colors will be presented by both a Joint Services Color Guard and an honor guard representing the Jacksonville Sherriff's Office and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. The 100-yard field flag will be held by local first responders and members of the armed forces. A flyover will be performed by helicopters from the Jacksonville Sherriff's Office. The Jaguars will welcome the University of Florida Fightin' Gator Marching Band for a halftime performance.

MILITARY HONOREES

During the game, the Jaguars will honor former U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Carl Finney as the Veteran of the Game presented by Dr. Patrick Basile.  Finney has deployed nine times in service to his country as a member of multiple SEAL teams. In 2005, he was awarded a Bronze Star with Valor for heroic achievement in connection with combat operations against the enemy as Leading Chief Petty Officer of Seal Team Ten. He is also the recipient of the Bronze Star for exceptional meritorious service in 2009. Finney is a 1984 graduate of Orange Park High School in Jacksonville.

The First Data Veteran-Owned Business of the Game is Cline's Custom Meats represented by its owner, Joe Cline, who is a U.S. Navy veteran previously stationed at Pearl Harbor and NAS Mayport. As the game enters the fourth quarter, the Navy Mutual Bell Ringer will be Chief Petty Officer Robert Green. He was selected to be Sailor of the Year for VUP-19 at Naval Air Station Jacksonville in March 2019 and earned the Volunteer Service Medal in January 2019 for volunteering more than 5,000 hours in the Jacksonville community.

BEAT THE HEAT

Jaguars fans are reminded to stay hydrated as temperatures are expected to remain high for the 1 p.m. kickoff. For fans looking for some shade before or during the game, the Daily's Place amphitheater is open for all attendees and features a large video screen broadcasting the entire game. Fans can also visit any guest services booth to request a free cup to fill at any of the stadium's water fountains. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority has provided two cooling buses located on the plaza level at the bases of Ramps 1 and 4 near the Fan Entertainment Zone, where fans can climb aboard and take a few minutes to cool off on a hot day. There will also be water stations and misting fans available near the buses.

SECURE DIGITAL TICKETING

In conjunction with Ticketmaster, the Jaguars will utilize secure digital ticketing this season. Fans will continue to utilize the Official Jacksonville Jaguars app to access their mobile tickets on game day. This year, they will now notice that each ticket has a moving barcode. This dynamic barcode updates every 15 seconds, eliminating the ability to use a screenshot as entry to TIAA Bank Field, and further preventing counterfeit tickets. Fans can still conveniently transfer tickets to friends or family via email or text using their mobile device.

Fans are encouraged to download or update the free Official Jacksonville Jaguars app on both Apple and Android devices. The Jaguars have also developed a detailed secure digital ticket guide to aid fans in accessing, transferring or selling their tickets for the upcoming season. Fans can access this tutorial and view answers to a list of frequently asked questions at www.jaguars.com/mobiletickets

BE PREPARED ON GAME DAY

Tickets to 2019 Jaguars games are completely mobile via the Official Jacksonville Jaguars app. Attendees should access their tickets before arriving at TIAA Bank Field and save them to a mobile device for easy access. Game tickets should be pulled up with original barcodes, not screenshots, ready as fans approach the stadium on game day to expedite entrance into the stadium.

The NFL's clear bag policy is in effect at TIAA Bank Field. Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home, but, if necessary, it should be either a clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", or a non-clear bag no larger than 4.5" x 6.5." Strict size enforcement will be in place for all non-clear bags. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and plan accordingly for traffic. Fans should plan to be inside stadium gates at least one hour prior to kickoff.
