JACKSONVILLE – The waiting and seeing continues.
Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who left for his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, Wednesday to be present for the birth of his second child, has been listed as questionable on the team's final injury report of the week for back/personal reasons.
Jaguars Head Coach Doug Marrone on Friday congratulated Ramsey on the birth of his daughter.
"He's listed as questionable with the baby being born and obviously with his low back," Marrone said Friday as the Jaguars (1-2) prepared to play the Denver Broncos (0-3) at Empower Field at Mile High Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
Ramsey did not practice this week, missing practice Monday because of an illness and missing practice Wednesday because of the back issue. He left for Nashville Wednesday evening.
Ramsey, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, started and played all of a victory over the Tennessee Titans last Thursday after requesting a trade earlier in the week.
"Questionable probably is right where it is," Marrone said of Ramsey's status. "I just think it's 'Questionable.' You're hoping that every player is going to play. When he gets back, we'll see how he's doing."
Ramsey was the lone Jaguars player listed as questionable on the final injury report, with tight end Josh Oliver and linebacker D.J. Alexander ruled out with hamstring issues. All other players were removed from the injury report Friday.
