First week complete

The Jacksonville Jaguars conducted a mock game today inside Alltel Stadium in front of 1,444 fans this morning after 7,855 fans watched the Jaguars' live scrimmage on Friday night. This morning's practice concluded the first week of two-a-day practices.

"We put ourselves in a lot of situations," said head coach Jack Del Rio. "We got to finish off our first week of camp and go through a lot of the mental work right there. We got a lot of things worked out, a lot of kinks worked out. We should be much smoother when we go into our first preseason game."

Del Rio also spoke about two of his former teammates, Troy Aikman and Warren Moon, who will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame today.

"Today is a big day for me personally because a couple of my friends are going into the Hall of Fame. I played with Troy Aikman in Dallas for three years and I played a few years in Minnesota with Warren Moon. Both of theses guys are as classy as you can find and really good players and really good people and I'm happy for them today," said Del Rio.

There will be no practice on Sunday and camp will continue on Monday with two practice sessions at 10:15 a.m. (shorts) and 7:15 p.m. (shells) on the practice fields at Alltel Stadium. Tuesday's schedule will include a 11:00 a.m. special teams practice and a 7:15 p.m. (pads) session. Single game tickets will be available at every practice session at the practice fields.
