BRUNELL TO PLAY IN PRO BOWL

Jaguars quarterback Mark Brunell was named to the Pro Bowl squad today, joining wide receiver Keenan McCardell and offensive tackle Tony Boselli on the AFC team.

Brunell, who was the AFC's second alternate at quarterback, was added to the squad when Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway deceided not to play because of a shoulder injury. Miami's Dan Marino, the first alternate, has ankle and knee injuries.

The Pro Bowl will be played on February 2 in Honolulu. The AFC squad will be coached by Jaguars head coach Tom Coughlin and his coaching staff because the Jaguars advanced to the AFC Championship game this season.
