BOSELLI, SMITH NAMED TO PRO BOWL SQUAD

Two members of the Jacksonville Jaguars were named as to the AFC Pro Bowl squad - OT Tony Boselli and WR Jimmy Smith. In addition, three Jaguars were named as first alternates - QB Mark Brunell, OT Leon Searcy and kick returner Reggie Barlow. Boselli and Smith will start in the Pro Bowl, which will be played on February 7 in Honolulu. For Boselli, it will be his third Pro Bowl and second start, while Smith will make his second appearance and first start.

The three alternates could be added to the Pro Bowl squad in the event of other players not being able to play due to injury or other reasons. In 1996, Boselli and Brunell both played in their first Pro Bowl as alternates.
