The blackout deadline for Thursday night's game between the
Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs has been extended until 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday. If the game is not sold out by then, it will not be televised
in the Jacksonville area.
The Jaguars today asked the National Football League to grant an
extension in hopes that the tickets will be bought. There were fewer
than 5,000 tickets left to reach the blackout as of 5:00 p.m. Monday.
Tickets can be purchased at the Jaguars Ticket Office from 8:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. In addition,
tickets may be purchased 24 hours a day on the Internet at
www.jaguars.com, the team's web site, or by calling
1-888-397-0100.
