Barcelona Outruns Quinn and Berlin Thunder in NFL Europe Week Six Action

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Jonathan Quinn completed 12 of 25 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown in a 55-35 loss to the first place Barcelona Dragons. The Dragons were led by Mike Green, who earned NFL Europe's Offensive Player of the Week honors with 20 rushes for 142 yards and four touchdowns.

Jaguars defensive end Paul Spicer, who was allocated to the Frankfurt Galaxy, was placed on the injured reserve list with a season-ending elbow injury. Placekicker Jim Tarle did not play in Frankfurt's 22-5 loss to Rhein, due to an ankle injury.

-- Frankfurt tackle Reggie Nelson started and helped the Galaxy gain 263 total yards

-- Barcelona cornerback Craig Miller started and recorded three tackles

-- Barcelona linebacker Troy Pelshak started and had two tackles

-- Berlin safety James Watkins posted one tackle

In this Saturday's action, the Frankfurt Galaxy will travel to Barcelona to take on the Dragons at 11 a.m. with the game televised on DirecTV. Berlin will host Scotland for a 12 noon matchup aired on DirecTV, with former Jaguars defensive tackle John Jurkovic broadcasting the game. Rhein will travel to Amsterdam to take on the Admirals at 1 p.m. with the game televised on Fox Sports Net.

The seven allocated players will return from the NFL Europe League in time for the start of Jaguars training camp on July 26.
