Approximately 1,000 tickets remain for Sunday's game between the
Jaguars and Cleveland Browns at ALLTEL Stadium, and they must
be sold out by 1:00 p.m. Thursday for the game to be televised
locally.
"We are confident at the current pace that we will sell enough
tickets by the deadline to sell out the game," said Bill Prescott, vice
president/chief financial officer of the Jaguars.
NFL games must be sold out 72 hours before kickoff, otherwise
they cannot be televised within 75 miles, according to NFL blackout
guidelines.
Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the Internet at
www.jaguars.com or by calling 1-888-397-0100 before 3:00 p.m.
Saturday. Single-game ticket prices are $40, $50, $65 and $85 per
ticket. Tickets can also be purchased from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday at the Jaguars Ticket Office at ALLTEL
Stadium.
