The Jaguars Select DE Myles Cole As Their Final Pick at the 2024 NFL Draft

236-PICK-16x9

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars stayed defensive as day's end drew nigh.

They did so by adding depth to a defensive front that – like the rest of the defense – is an offseason of transition.

Myles Cole, an edge defender from Texas Tech, on Saturday was selected by the Jaguars No. 236 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft – the 16th selection of Round 7.

Cole (6-feet-6, 278 pounds), a one-year starter, transferred to Texas Tech after playing four seasons at Louisiana-Monroe. He registered 32 tackles in 2023 with 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, a pass breakup and three quarterback hurries.

Cole became first Texas Tech player selected by the Jaguars in the NFL Draft.

The Jaguars hold no more selections in the '24 draft.
