JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars have two more selections in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The NFL on Friday announced its compensatory selections in the '24 draft, with the Jaguars receiving the No. 96 overall selection (Round 3) and the No. 212 overall selection (Round 6).

The NFL awards compensatory selections each offseason, with the selections based on a formula of free-agency gains and losses from the previous offseason. The Jaguars received the No. 96 overall selection for the loss of right tackle Jawaan Taylor, who signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. They received the No. 212 selection for the loss of pass rusher Arden Key, who signed with the Tennessee Titans.

The No. 96 selection was the earliest of the 34 selections awarded by the NFL Friday.

The Jaguars currently hold nine selections in the '24 draft:

  • One in Round 1 (No. 17)
  • One in Round 2 (No. 48)
  • One in Round 3 (No. 96)
  • Two in Round 4 (Nos. 113 and 115)
  • One in Round 5 (No. 152)
  • Two in Round 6 (Nos. 192 and 212)
  • One in Round 7 (No. 236)

The Rounds 1-2 selections are their own originally-assigned selections, as are one of their Round 4 selections and their Rounds 5-7 selections. The No. 115 selection is from New Orleans.

The Jaguars' current second-round selection is uncertain. If they re-sign wide receiver Calvin Ridley before the start of the 2024 NFL League Year on Wednesday, they will give up the second-round selection to the Atlanta Falcons and get back their original third-round selection.

If they do not sign Ridley before then, they keep their second-round selection and Atlanta keeps the Jaguars' original third-round selection.
