JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars' attention turned to offensive line depth late Saturday.
Cooper Hodges, an offensive tackle from Appalachian State, on Saturday was selected by the Jaguars in Round 7 of the 2023 NFL Draft – the No. 226 overall selection.
Hodges (6-feet-4, 311 pounds), who played all four seasons at Appalachian State, played high school football for Glen Saint Mary (Fla.) Baker County High School – about a 30-minute drive from downtown Jacksonville.
Hodges was a third-team All-America selection at right tackle as a senior by Pro Football Focus. He was a four-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection, earning first-team honors as a senior and junior and second-team honors as a freshman and sophomore.

The Jaguars also on Saturday traded the No. 127 overall selection to the New Orleans Saints for the No. 227 overall selection in 2023 and a fourth-round 2024 selection.
