JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars stayed defensive Saturday.
They did it by addressing secondary depth on Day 3 of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Greg Junior, a cornerback from Division II Ouachita Baptist University, on Saturday was selected by the Jaguars No. 197 overall in the '22 NFL Draft – the 18th selection of the sixth round.
Junior (6-feet-0, 190 pounds), who played in the Reese's Senior Bowl in January, played four seasons at Ouachita Baptist. He had 46 tackles last season, with three for loss, and seven pass breakups.
He finished with one career interception.
The Jaguars on Thursday selected Georgia outside linebacker Travon Walker No. 1 overall and Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd No. 27 overall, selecting Kentucky offensive lineman Luke Fortner No. 65 overall and Wyoming linebacker Chad Muma No. 70 overall Friday. They selected Mississippi running back Snoop Conner No. 154 overall Saturday and hold one more selection: No. 235 overall (Round 7).
