Mock Draft Tracker 11.0: One Player and One Position Ring a Bell

JACKSONVILLE – One position remains popular. One player in particular does, too.

This is the 11th 2024 jaguars.com mock draft tracker – and with cornerback an increasingly popular projection for the Jaguars at No. 17 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, one player at the spot also is an increasingly popular selection among analysts.

That player: Terrion Arnold, a cornerback from the University of Alabama.

"His play speaks for itself; he was the most productive player in Alabama's secondary," Joel Klatt of Fox Sports wrote, with Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Media writing: "Arnold plays much faster than he timed at the NFL Scouting Combine (4.50 40-yard dash); he can line up inside and outside for Jacksonville."

Also projected to the Jaguars at No. 17 overall: Cornerback Nate Wiggins of Clemson.

"Nate Wiggins is a high-end man-coverage cornerback who is still a bit inconsistent," Josh Edwards of CBS Sports wrote.

Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell also continued to be projected to the Jaguars in Round 1.

"Although his overall production isn't there compared to the other top receivers in the class, teams are intrigued by Mitchell's combination of size, speed and physicality when attacking the football," CBS' Tom Fornelli wrote.

Also projected to the Jaguars at No. 17 by analysts in this week's tracker: Penn State edge Chop Robinson, Washington offensive lineman Troy Fautanu, Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze, Louisiana State wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., Georgia offensive tackle Amarius Mims and Florida State edge Jared Verse.

"You can never have too many athletic, bendy pass rushers in the NFL," Nate Davis of USA Today wrote of Verse.
