JACKSONVILLE – The '24 Jaguars once again will be prime-time players.
They will be national-television players, too.
They will play internationally twice in October for a second consecutive season and they also will have a difficult early-season stretch – with the NFL releasing the Jaguars' 2024 schedule along with the entire '24 league schedule Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Among the highlights of the Jaguars' '24 schedule: Back-to-back games in London. They will play a road game against the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium October 13 at 9:30 a.m. on NFL Network and a home game against the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium on October 20 at 9:30 a.m. on NFL Network.
The Jaguars also will play two prime-time games: At the Buffalo Bills in a Monday Night ESPN game on September 23 at 7:30 p.m. and at the Philadelphia Eagles in a Sunday Night Football game on NBC on November 3 at 8:20 p.m.
The Jaguars open '24 with three of the first four games on the road. They will play at the Miami Dolphins in Week 1, home against the Cleveland Browns at EverBank Stadium in Week 2, at Buffalo Week 3 and at the Houston Texans Week 4. All four of those teams were postseason teams last season.
They will then play host to the Indianapolis Colts for a second AFC South game in as many weeks – and a fifth consecutive game against a team with a winning record from 2023 to start the season – before the back-to-back London games against Chicago and New England in mid-October. They close October with a Week 8 home game against the Green Bay Packers.
The Jaguars then play two of their three November games on the road: at Philadelphia November 3, with a home game against the Minnesota Vikings on November 10 and a road game at the Detroit Lions on November 17. The Jaguars are off November 24, the weekend before Thanksgiving.
The Jaguars then finish the regular season alternating home and away in the final six games – with four AFC South games during that span. They are home against Houston to open December on Thanksgiving weekend and at the Tennessee Titans the following week.
They then play host to the New York Jets and visit the Las Vegas Raiders the following week before finishing the regular season with back-to-back division games: Home against the Titans in Week 17 and at the Colts in the regular-season finale.
The time and date of the regular-season finale will be determined following Week 17 games.
The Jaguars in 2024 will play four games each against teams from the AFC East (Miami, Buffalo, New York Jets and New England) and NFC North (Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit, Chicago) and six games against AFC South teams (Indianapolis, Tennessee, Houston). They also will play the 2023 second-place teams from the AFC North: (Cleveland), AFC West (Las Vegas) and NFC East (Philadelphia).
The schedule features four games against 2023 division champions (Buffalo, Houston twice and Detroit) and four other 2023 playoff teams (Miami, Cleveland, Green Bay, Philadelphia). Ten of their 17 games are against teams that had winning records in 2023.
