JACKSONVILLE – James Robinson is out Sunday.
Robinson, the Jaguars' starting running back and the NFL's eighth-leading rusher, will miss the team's game against the Buffalo Bills at TIAA Bank Field Sunday. He was declared inactive 90 minutes before kickoff with a heel injury sustained against the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday.
Eight-year veteran Carlos Hyde is expected to start for Robinson.
Robinson missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before participating in a walkthrough Friday. He was questionable on the team's final injury report of the week Friday.
Other Jaguars inactives Sunday:
Wide receiver Tyron Johnson, cornerback Tre Herndon, tight end Jacob Hollister and rookie defensive end/linebacker Jordan Smith.
