Tony Boselli, the Jacksonville Jaguars first-ever draft selection and Pro Football Hall of Fame member, was appointed Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the team on February 3, 2025.
Alongside Head Coach Liam Coen and the team's general manager, Boselli reports directly to Jaguars Owner Shad Khan as part of the team's football leadership unit. He is responsible for player engagement, football technology, football travel and logistics, equipment, sports performance, team security and football communications. Boselli also serves as the liaison between football operations and the business side of the Jaguars to ensure a unified and successful organization as a whole.
Boselli was the second overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft and the first-ever draft selection by the Jaguars. A five-time Pro Bowl selection (1996-2000) and three-time All-Pro (1997-99), he started 90 of 91 career games as well as six playoff games from 1995-2001. Boselli led the way for Jaguars all-time leading rusher RB Fred Taylor to post nearly 3,500 yards and 32 TDs in the four seasons during which he blocked for Taylor. In addition to clearing the way for Taylor, he protected Jaguars all-time leading passer QB Mark Brunell.
During his seven seasons in the NFL, Boselli allowed only 15.5 sacks, and was the first Jaguars player to be inducted into the team's Pride of the Jaguars. His dominance was again recognized when he was selected to the NFL's All-Decade team of the 1990s. Boselli was named No. 1 on the Jaguars All-25 in 2019, a collection of the top 25 non-active players in franchise history, as voted on by members of the local media. Boselli was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 6, 2022, becoming the 355th individual in the history of the game and the first Jaguars player to receive the honor.
Boselli has been under contract with the Jaguars over many years, serving as a game day radio analyst and frequent contributor to Jaguars.com reporting, in addition to representing the team as an NFL Legends ambassador and throughout the community. In 2010, Boselli led the successful Team Teal grassroots effort to strengthen the Jaguars' foundation in Jacksonville, appealing to fans and businesses to purchase season tickets and sponsorships to show the NFL and the world the power of Jacksonville and North Florida as an NFL market.
Boselli has also served as the lead analyst for Thursday Night Football on Westwood One and worked as an NFL game analyst and sideline reporter for Westwood One.
Boselli has more than 15 years of executive leadership experience across the healthcare, education and government sectors. Since 2022, he served as President and Chief Growth Officer for all.health, a healthcare technology company where he was responsible for the expansion of providers and payers using the all.health ICM Platform for the management of their patient population. Prior to this role, he was Senior Vice President at Optum for two years, focusing on the development of partnerships with health systems and payers to accelerate their growth and performance agenda after serving as COO/President of Caredox, connecting K-12 public schools with the healthcare system, delivering no-cost solutions to families and schools.
In 2013, Tony founded Healthy Schools, LLC helping children to thrive through health-focused educational programs supporting parent leaders in Florida K-12 public schools. In 2010, he founded Right Coast Strategies, a consulting firm for public relations and government affairs, where Tony's focus was business development, partnerships, local government contracting, lobbying firm relationships.
Boselli lives in Ponte Vedra, Fla., with his wife, Angi. The couple has five children: Andrew, Adam, Ashli, Alexis and Ansli. Along with Angi, he founded the Boselli Foundation during his rookie year in 1995, an organization helping at-risk youth cultivate high self-esteem and to succeed at home, at school and at play.
Boselli earned his business degree from University of Southern California, achieving Academic All-American while he played football. He was also a two-time All-American on the field, and a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame and the USC Hall of Fame.
