Tim Walsh was named the Jaguars director of football administration in 2007. He is in his 27th year with the Jaguars organization and works closely with General Manager Trent Baalke and Head Coach Doug Pederson.
Walsh's responsibilities include managing the Jaguars salary cap, developing the Jaguars strategic planning, crafting contract proposals and parameters, negotiating player contracts and budgeting and coordinating the Jaguars compliance with the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement and NFL Player Personnel rules.
Walsh started his NFL career in 1996 with the NFL Management Council, for which he monitored the league-wide salary cap and analyzed NFL player contracts. Walsh graduated summa cum laude in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and earned his master's degree in sport management from the University of Richmond. He is a member of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2012.
