Regis Eller enters his second season as the director of player personnel and fourth with the Jaguars. Regis originally joined the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021 as Director of Pro Scouting.
Prior to his executive role with the Jaguars, Regis spent 13 seasons with the San Diego and Los Angeles Chargers. During his time with the Chargers, he served most recently as the Assistant Director of Pro Scouting (2019-2021) and as a Pro Scout (2017-2019). Before this opportunity, Regis spent five seasons as an area scout in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions (2011-2016). Regis first landed with the Chargers as an Assistant to the Defensive Coaching Staff (2008).
Prior to working for the Chargers, Eller was a defensive coaching assistant for the Minnesota Vikings in 2005. He played collegiately at Northwestern University from 1999-2000. A native of Minneapolis, Eller's father, Carl Eller, played 16 NFL seasons, all but one with the Minnesota Vikings and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
In 2022, Eller was selected to participate in the NFL's inaugural Coach and Front Office Accelerator Program. The program is designed to provide senior women and minority prospects with leadership development sessions with football operations experts and facilitators, as well as time spent networking directly with club owners.
