John Dever is entering his third season as the team's senior vice president and chief communications officer after being hired in July 2022. Dever leads the Jaguars communications team responsible for the strategy and execution of public relations for the club's football and business operation, as well as its sister companies, Bold Events and Iguana Investments.

John Dever is entering his third season as the team's senior vice president and chief communications officer after being hired in July 2022. Dever leads the Jaguars communications team responsible for the strategy and execution of public relations for the club's football and business operation, as well as its sister companies, Bold Events and Iguana Investments.

Dever joined the team from PGA of America, where he directed the public relations efforts for various PGA spectator championships – including the Ryder Cup, PGA Championship and KPMG Women's PGA Championship – for seven years. Prior to that, he spent a decade-plus in Major League Baseball, leading the media operation for the Washington Nationals and Montreal Expos.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Dever previously worked with the San Diego Padres and the University of Virginia. He and his wife, Karen, have three children: Kelley, Chelsea and Quinn.
