Dave McCloughan enters his fourth season with the Jaguars and currently serves as a college scout. McCloughan has had stops with the Oakland Raiders where he was a college scout (1996-04 & 2011-19) and the San Francisco 49ers where he served as the director of college scouting (2005-10).
McCloughan played cornerback in the NFL for four seasons. He was originally drafted in the third round by the Colts in the 1991 NFL draft. He spent one season in Indianapolis and then spent one season with the Packers. He then signed with the Seahawks and spent the 1993 and 1994 seasons in Seattle. For his career, McCloughan recorded 42 total tackles and five passes defensed in 48 games.
McCloughan's father, Kent McCloughan, played cornerback for the Raiders from 1965 to 1970. His brother, Scot McCloughan, served as the GM for the Washington Football Team (2015-16) and the San Francisco 49ers (2005-10).
The San Leandro, Calif. native played four seasons at the University of Colorado (1986-90) and was a member of the 1991 National Championship team.
