In his second season with the Jaguars, Greg Austin was promoted to Assistant Offensive Line Coach. Austin originally joined the Jaguars as an offensive quality control coach for the 2023 season, during which Jacksonville's offense finished with a 4,000-yard passer (Trevor Lawrence), 1,000-yard receiver (Calvin Ridley) and 1,000-yard rusher (Travis Etienne Jr.). The Jaguars offense also finished the 2023 regular season in the top ten in passing offense (ninth).

The Jaguars offense also finished the 2023 regular season in the top ten in passing offense (ninth).  

Austin arrived in Jacksonville after spending the 2022 season as the offensive line/run game coordinator with Florida International University. He previously worked with the offensive line at Nebraska from 2018-21, served as the offensive line coach at University of Central Florida from 2016-17 and has prior NFL experience as assistant offensive line coach for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2013-15. He began his coaching career with Oregon in 2010 as a coaching intern prior to being promoted to a graduate assistant in 2010-11.

Austin played collegiately at Nebraska from 2003-06 and made 18 career starts at offensive guard. He was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection as a senior in 2006, when the Huskers played in the Big 12 Championship game and the Cotton Bowl. 

Austin earned his bachelor's degree in management from Nebraska in 2006 before picking up a pair of master's degrees from UCF in business management and sports management. Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Austin spent time as an event manager at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.

He and his wife Kelley have four children.
