The Jacksonville Jaguars hired Brandon Ireland as an assistant strength and conditioning coach on Feb. 3, 2021.
Prior to joining the Jaguars, Ireland was a strength and conditioning assistant with the Atlanta Falcons from 2017-20. Before working in the NFL, he spent time collegiately as a strength and conditioning coach for Iowa State University (2016-17), University of Illinois (2015-16), and had various roles at the University of Florida where he served as a football strength and conditioning coach (2013-15), Olympic strength and conditioning coach (2012-13), and an intern (2011-12). A native of Atlanta, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise & sport from the University of Florida (2007) and earned a Master of Science degree in human movement from A.T. Still University (2011).
Ireland is certified by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM PES & CES), USA Weightlifting (USAW), National Association of Speed and Explosion (NASE – CSS) and has a Westside Special Strengths Certification.
