Prowler Throwbacks made an appearance at our 2024 Special Olympics game hosted ahead of our game vs. the Vikings. The talented Special Olympics Florida team battled the Special Olympics Minnesota team in a competitive Special Olympics Unified Bowl battle presented by Ticketmaster. We are so glad the Special Olympics Minnesota traveled to Jacksonville for a memorable game day experience filled with flag football, watching NFL football and making great friendships.

Jaguars Legends, players, Jaxson de Ville and the ROAR joined the Jaguars for their 5th annual Turkey Time in partnership with TECO Peoples Gas. Over 600 holiday meals were distributed that consisted of a turkey, dried goods, produce, desserts and a gift from the Jaguars.

Volunteers from VyStar Credit Union and the Jaguars teamed up with Florida Avenue, Main Street and OutEast residents to tackle phase three of the transformation of Buster Ford Checkerboard Park, located in the Historic Eastside community. Volunteers planted 280 plants and flowers, laid 95 units of mulch and gravel, and cleaned storefronts along the APR corridor!

Making an impact. Cornerback Tyson Campbell joined Jaxson De Ville and the ROAR at Beauclerc Elementary for a special read of Papa's Mechanical Fish with the goal of expanding literacy education to our local schools.

Giving back. 🍎 Safety Daniel Thomas and Linebacker Chad Muma read Jaxson's new book alongside the ROAR and Jaxson De Ville himself at Andrew Robinson school as part of our Literacy Locker Room program.

It sure was a memorable weekend 🥺 Jaguars Legends were welcomed with a social gathering at Beach Bowl, attended Jaguars practice and finished with a touring and dinner at the new Miller Electric Center Facility. This weekend was all about the reunion of these special and well remembered Jaguars players and honoring all they did to move this franchise forward. 🐆

Small moments leaving a big impact. Tom Coughlin, Jay Fund, Ross Matiscik and Cam Little recently stopped by to spend time with our Wolfson Warriors at Wolfson Children's Hospital. 👏

Reading matters 📚 The Jaguars teamed up with Gallagher for a Literacy Locker Room at the John Love Early Learning Center. Jaguars Legend Donovin Darius, Jaxson De Ville, and The Roar joined to read to the students and distribute hundreds of books and Jags swag.

The Jaguars hosted multiple activations throughout the month to honor and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. From our Somos Duuuuval Youth football camp, to our food distribution drive and recognizing milestones in-bowl at our home opener game we are continuing to make an impact in our local Jacksonville community.

The Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation's 2nd Annual Community Day presented by Florida Blue positively impacts thousands of local children, families, and military personnel through care package assembly in the Flex Field at Daily's Place. Volunteers from Florida Blue, CSX, FIS, Regency Centers and Tito's Vodka assembled care packages for Feeding Northeast Florida, St. Michael's Soldiers, City Year and Operation New Hope. The event concluded with a DJ, tailgate games, lunch and photo opportunities with Jaxson de Ville and Jaguars Legends David Garrard and Kevin Hardy

On 9/04, the Jaguars celebrated the grand opening of The Corner at Debs Store in Jacksonville's Historic Eastside. This North Florida Goodwill initiative provides fresh, affordable food and career services through the GoodCareers Center. Originally serving the community since 1911, the Debs Store closed in 2011, leaving the neighborhood without a walkable grocer. The 2024 revival, supported by the Debs family, Goodwill, LIFT JAX, the City of Jacksonville, the Jaguars, Vystar and others, includes a new computer lab funded by the Jaguars Foundation.

From honorary captains to pre-game flag holding to in-game recognition, the Jaguars Foundation and Jaguars PREP put on a show for our local football athletes during August's Play Football Month. Student athletes from across Northeast Florida were highlighted and treated to unique behind-the-scenes experiences at both home preseason Jaguars games.
