The Jacksonville Jaguars enjoy a strong relationship with the United States Soccer Federation and it's men's national team. Last summer, for instance, the U.S. team played Nigeria in Jacksonville in its final prep match before leaving to Brazil for the FIFA World Cup.
And the United States has produced a number of stars for Fulham Football Club over the years, including Marcus Hahnemann, Eddie Lewis, Carlos Bocanegra, Brian McBride, Kasey Keller, Eddie Johnson and Clint Dempsey. The American line of succession at Fulham has now been passed to 18-year-old Emerson Hyndman, who played extensively in Fulham's Youth Academy and scored a goal in the U-18 FA Cup Final.
So, the U.S. men's national team should feel at home on Friday, November 14, when they play host to Colombia, the No. 3-ranked team in the world, at 8 p.m. at Craven Cottage. What a great way for Union Jax members to extend the celebration in the coming days – Cowboys vs. Jaguars at Wembley on Sunday followed by the U.S. facing Colombia on Friday, November 14!
Tickets are available now at http://shop.fulhamfc.com/events.aspx?eid=2031 (Fulhamfc.com) and start at only £20 pounds for adults or £10 pounds for supporters under 16 or over 65 years old.
Shahid Khan, the owner of the Jaguars and chairman of Fulham, said: "This is an attractive international friendly at any locale in the world, but it's nearly perfect at Craven Cottage."
See you there!
