Everyone was getting geared up for the Jaguars' first preseason game of 2014, as Training Camp was in full swing and the team held its annual scrimmage. However, the players are not the only ones competing. Duval got involved in two competitions to show off their team pride. Fans were excited about a vote for the best mascot in sports and a USA Today poll for the top NFL fans on Twitter.

Jaxson De Ville was nominated for as the NFL's best mascot on mascotinsider.com. After winning that title, he advanced to the final round and entered into a dead heat with Bailey of the Los Angeles Kings. Duval rallied behind its beloved Jaxson.
