JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed WR Denzel Mims, the team announced today. Additionally, the team has waived WR Kyric McGowan.
Mims was originally drafted by the New York Jets in the second round (59th overall) of the 2020 draft. After spending his first three seasons in New York (2020-22), he started last season with Detroit and later joined Pittsburgh's practice squad on Oct. 3, 2023. Throughout his career, he has played in 30 games (15 starts) and has totaled 42 receptions for 676 yards, while averaging 16.1 yards per reception.
The Daingerfield, Texas, native spent four seasons at Baylor (2016-19) where he was named 2019 First Team All-Big 12. He finished his collegiate career with the third-most receiving touchdowns (28) and fifth-most career receptions (186) in Baylor history.
