JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars addressed offensive-line depth Friday.

They did so by re-signing a familiar, reliable player who has started a significant number games for the team in recent seasons.

Tyler Shatley, a sixth-year veteran guard/center who has spent all five of his NFL seasons with the Jaguars, re-signed with the team Friday morning. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Shatley became an unrestricted free agent on March 13.

Shatley, who originally signed with the Jaguars as a collegiate free agent shortly following the 2014 NFL Draft, has started 15 of 62 games in five NFL seasons. He has been the Jaguars' swing interior lineman the past four seasons, and has been active for all 16 regular-season games each of the past three seasons.

Shatley, who played collegiately at Clemson, started a career-high seven games at center last season when starter Brandon Linder missed the season's final seven games with a knee injury.

The Jaguars now have nine offensive linemen on the roster, including four 2018 Week 1 starters: left tackle Cam Robinson, left guard Andrew Norwell, Linder and right guard A.J. Cann. The Jaguars re-signed Cann on March 13. Other offensive linemen on the roster: Shatley, right tackle Will Richardson, right tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, center K.C. McDermott and guard Brandon Thomas.
