JACKSONVILLE – What was reported, is now official.

That means the Jaguars are now officially a very different roster than they were a few days ago.

The Jaguars in recent days made a series of roster moves, acquiring nine veteran free agency and parting ways with multiple players in multiple fashions – with most of those moves becoming official at Wednesday's 4 p.m. start of the 2025 NFL League Year.

The key moves included acquiring the following unrestricted free agents (UFA):

NAME POSITION FORMER TEAM
Dyami Brown Wide Receiver Washington Commanders
Chuma Edoga Offensive Lineman Dallas Cowboys

Jourdan Lewis Cornerback Cowboys
Hunter Long Tight End Los Angeles Rams
Patrick Mekari Offensive Lineman Baltimore Ravens
Nick Mullens Quarterback Minnesota Vikings
Johnny Mundt Tight End Minnesota Vikings
Eric Murray Safety Houston Texans

The Jaguars with the moves revamped multiple positions, acquiring two potential starting offensive linemen, Mekari and Hainsey, and multiple projected starters/contributors in the secondary, Murray and Lewis, along with a deep-threat/starting wide receiver, Brown.

They also acquired four players – Mullens, Mundt, Hainsey and Long – from organizations in which either Jaguars Head Coach Liam Coen (Rams, Buccaneers) or Offensive Coordinator Grant Udinski (Vikings) have worked in recent seasons.

The Jaguars also on Wednesday retained offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen, who had been scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday.
