The Jaguars Women's Association (JWA) hosted a group of young ladies from Wolfson Children's Hospital along with their best friends at the Omni Hotel in downtown Jacksonville for a special party from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday.
The group enjoyed a "girls day" that included make-up, manicures, pedicures, live music, dancing and lunch. The ROAR cheerleaders and JAXSON de Ville were also in attendance.
The event would not have been possible without the support of businesses and volunteers in Jacksonville. Dream Limousines transported the children from EverBank Field to the Omni. The group received manicures and pedicures from Cosmo Nails, while volunteers from the Dillard's Clinique and Dillard's Kiehl's Counter at the St. Johns Town Center applied and assisted with makeup for the girls. Doing Dishes Pottery is provided pottery for the ladies and Instant Photo Cube had a photo booth set up at the Omni. Music was provided by local DJ Clay Greenhaw.
Gift bags for the group included items from Cinotti's Bakery, the Jaguars, Tervis in St. Johns Town Center, KYDS, Nike, Sweet by Holly, Sequins and Deermeadows preschool.
JWA was established in 2013 by Joelle Caldwell and Michaela Bradley and engages the Jaguars' female staff and female spouses of staff, coaches and players in community initiatives, including the Wolfson Children's Hospital, Jacksonville Humane Society, Hubbard House and In the Pink.
