Date your season membership started:
1995. Did not renew 2003-2006 (Michael was at UF during those years). We did mini packs 2007-2008. We renewed for the full 2009 season, but Michael had a car accident and traumatic brain injury which forced us to cancel that year's tickets. His recovery progressed well enough to allow us to attend the last three home games in 2009. We renewed for the full 2010 season and used wheelchair-accessible seats through the 2012 season. Meanwhile, Michael was successfully working on regaining his ability to walk, and we felt confident moving out of the accessible seats beginning with the 2013 season. We moved to club seats beginning with the 2015 season. The 2015 season was very special for our family – our younger son interned with the Jaguars Athletic Training staff as he pursued his Athletic Training degree at UNF. He is now a PA with an orthopedics practice in the Atlanta area.

Do you have any game day rituals?
Over the years, we didn't have a real "ritual." However, I think that I started one in January 2023. For the Titans game, I brought my "DUVALL TOGETHER" flag and I tacked it to a tree in our tailgating area. Since that game ended well, I did it again for the Chargers game. Since the Jaguars were playing in Kansas City the following week, I tacked the flag to our fence at home. I'm going to keep this one going!
What's your favorite part of game day?
Besides the game itself, tailgating with friends both before and after the game. Our tailgating group has been together since the late 1990s, when our children were school classmates. Some of those children grew up to be season ticket members themselves.
What's your go-to food item at the Jaguars stadium?
Hot dogs or popcorn.
What do you gain from attending a game instead of watching it on tv?
Being a part of memorable games, especially like the January 2023 Saturday night victories over the Titans and the Chargers. Shouting at the TV at home would have gone no further than the inside of our house. The sound, the feel of thousands upon thousands of faithful Jaguars fans, all shouting together, play after play, went straight to the Chargers' heads and stayed there until the Jaguars finished the comeback of their lives as the game clock ticked down to zero. Michael adds, "It's the difference between listening to your favorite band on a CD or seeing them live in concert."
What would you tell someone who is considering purchasing season tickets?
You will never regret it! You will also make new friends and many great memories as the seasons continue.
