Do you have any gameday rituals?

My gameday ritual usually starts the night before since I have to travel usually about five hours. I get my gameday gear in order for whatever I plan on wearing, and I base it on the colors the Jags are wearing. This also includes tailgating preparations and getting the family hyped up. 

What's your favorite part of gameday?

All the pregame activities! I just enjoy getting here early and socializing with all the fans and getting to know new people. I love all the pre-game shows on the radio as I drive in!

What's your go to food item at TIAA Bank Field?

We usually try to theme our tailgating to whatever team we are playing. Atlanta, it's some type of bird. Dolphins, it's seafood. Texas teams, it's steak. Or we enjoy burgers, wings, hot dogs and sausages.

What do you gain from attending a game instead of watching it on tv?

Pure excitement. There is nothing like being at the game. I cannot replace the experiences I've had or the people I've met. The atmosphere on gameday cannot be duplicated at home.

What would you tell someone who is considering purchasing season tickets?

I tell people all the time it's the best decision I ever made. I got them when my son was very young, so we bonded over the long drives to and from each game. Jacksonville is my birth place, and I was here in the late 70's when Robert Irsay landed in the Gator Bowl as he considered Jacksonville potential home for the Colts. Football is about community as much as it is about the game, and it was my way to support and give back. So, I tell them to look at a bigger picture, not just cost. There's no price on memories, friendship and the fun you will have. And, last, but not least, PRIDE! DUUUVAL!!!
