Game Report, 2026 Week 9: Jaguars 33, Ravens 10

GAME REPORT

BALTIMORE, Md. – Rain fell, lights shone and the Jaguars responded.

In the process, they won their first Thursday night game in three seasons and extended their division lead.

Parker Washington and Trevor Lawrence combined for a key touchdown, and Bhayshul Tuten ran for an early one, with the defense turning in a second consecutive strong effort as the Jaguars pulled away from the Baltimore Ravens for a 33-10 rain-soaked victory on Thursday Night Football in front of 70,007 at M&T Bank Stadium.

"Good to get a win," Lawrence said, with Jaguars Head Coach Liam Coen praising what he called a "businesslike" performance.

"I was extremely proud of their process throughout the week that led us to this point," Coen said, adding of team overall in a steady rain, "I thought they handled it well for the most part."

The AFC South-leading Jaguars (6-2) won for a second consecutive game and for a fourth time in five games. The Ravens (4-5) lost a fourth consecutive game.

The Jaguars lead the AFC South by three-and-a-half games over the Houston Texans (2-5).

"It feels good to win at home, but it may feel a little better to win in somebody else's home," Jaguars defensive end Josh Hines-Allen said. "We have a lot of away games the rest of the season. If we can kind of continue to focus on ourselves and our brand of football, we'll be where we need to be.

"A great team win today."

The Jaguars, who forced three turnovers, allowed 10 or fewer points for a second consecutive game and have allowed 17 points in two games since a Week 7 bye. They have allowed 10 or fewer points in four of eight games this season and 20 or fewer points in six games.

"Very pleased with the way the defense played today," Coen said.

Lawrence completed 16 of 26 passes for 242 yards and a touchdown, with Ravens quarterback Joe Fagnano – a rookie free agent making his first NFL start – completing 10 of 18 passes for 60 yards and no touchdowns with two interceptions.

Lawrence now has 18 touchdown passes with four interceptions this season.

"He was very on when it was really a game," Coen said of Lawrence. "He was extremely sharp, accurate and played a really solid football game."

Kicker Cam Little kicked four field goals for the Jaguars.

Lawrence's 50-yard touchdown pass to Washington extended what had been a one-score margin late in the first half, with the Jaguars leading 17-3 at halftime.

"Huge," Coen called the Washington touchdown. "To go up 17-3 at the half I thought was really critical."

Tuten's short touchdown run capped the Jaguars' first drive of the game, with the Jaguars taking the lead at that point and never trailing – the second consecutive game in which they did not trail.

Coen called it a "great start."

"We took the ball," Coen said. "We don't typically take the ball much and we took the ball because of the weather, knowing it was going to come a little heavier in the second half, we wanted to steal an early-drive possession."

Said Lawrence, "We did some great things in the first half. That opening drove was huge, just to set the tone. That's important, to be able to go get points right away."

Middle linebacker Foyesade Oluokun registered the Jaguars' lone sack Thursday. Cornerback Montaric Brown registered an interception that led to a second-half field goal, with cornerback Jourdan Lewis' fourth-quarter interception leading to a field goal.
