JACKSONVILLE – They moved to the big field, and things felt a little more real.

If Day 8 of Jaguars 2019 Training Camp wasn't exactly a scrimmage, it at least had something close to a scrimmage feel.

The Jaguars worked for about two hours in overcast, 80-degree conditions Friday, working in the early morning – and working inside TIAA Bank Field for the first time during '19 camp. The occasion: a practice that featured scrimmage-like conditions with multiple sessions of 11-on-11 work and drills designed to simulate a game feel.

Speaking before practice Friday morning, Head Coach Doug Marrone told reporter rookie tight end Josh Oliver on Thursday sustained a "significant" hamstring injury.

Marrone on his weekly radio show Thursday said rookie linebacker Quincy Williams could be ready to return Week 1 against Kansas City. Williams sustained a slight tear in his right meniscus Thursday.

Defensive coordinator Todd Wash spoke to the media Friday following practice. Coverage of his availability can be found on jaguars.com throughout the day Friday.

Jaguars players are off Saturday. They will practice at the Dream Finders Homes Practice Complex Sunday morning in a session closed to the public. The Jaguars will leave for Baltimore Sunday and will practice twice against the Ravens this week before the teams' preseason opener Thursday.

Here's a look at Day 8 practice:

PLAY OF THE DAY

This came early in practice, with second-year wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. continuing an impressive early camp with perhaps his best catch of camp to date. Quarterback Nick Foles on the play threw deep downfield to Chark, who leaped and caught the pass over second-year cornerback Tre Herndon for a 32-yard gain to the three-yard line. Running back Leonard Fournette scored on a three-yard run on the ensuing play. Foles also connected with Chark on a 15-yard completion on which Chark snatched the ball in the middle of the field and evaded a defender.
