After defeating the Detroit Lions 25-7 last week in Detroit, the Jaguars conclude their preseason slate with a home contest against the Miami Dolphins at EverBank Stadium.
Head Coach Doug Pederson said earlier this week he intends to play starters in the Jaguars' final tune-up before the regular season. "I just think you practice and play just like you're getting ready for a regular season game and our starters need some time together on the field. They'll get that opportunity this week, and I'll monitor it", coach Pederson said. "Right now, it's still full steam ahead."
With a victory on Saturday, the Jaguars can conclude their first preseason without a loss since 1997. In that season, the Jaguars defeated the Panthers, Giants, 49ers and Falcons. 1997 is the only season in team history the Jaguars went undefeated in the preseason.
