Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Nic Jacobs has signed his one-year exclusive rights tender offer from the team, the club announced today.
Jacobs, 6-5, 295, has played in 24 games with six starts since signing with Jacksonville in 2014. Career totals include three receptions for 24 yards (7.3 rec. avg.). He made his NFL debut on Sept. 28, 2014 at San Diego and caught a two-yard TD pass from QB Blake Bortles. The Many, La. native finished his collegiate career at McNeese State after transferring from LSU. As a senior, he totaled 32 receptions for 453 yards and four touchdowns.
