JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –The Jacksonville Jaguars have finalized their 2018 preseason and regular season schedules, the club announced today. The Jaguars' 2018 schedule release is presented by McGowan's Services.

JAGUARS RETURN TO PRIME TIME IN 2018: For the first time since the 2011 season, the Jaguars will play multiple games in the nation's spotlight. The Jaguars will host Pittsburgh on Sunday Night Football on Nov. 18 and travel to Tennessee for a Week 14 matchup on Thursday Night Football. Jacksonville has played in 36 nationally-televised prime-time games in the franchise's 23-season history, posting a 17-19 record in those contests. In prime-time matchups, the Jaguars are 15-12 at home and 2-7 on the road. The Jaguars own a 5-6 record on Sunday Night Football and a 4-6 record on Thursday Night Football.

The Jaguars last hosted a Sunday Night Football game on Oct. 5, 2008 against the Steelers (L, 21-26). The Jaguars' last win on Monday night came on Oct. 9, 2005 against Cincinnati (W, 23-20). On all prime-time platforms, including Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football, Jacksonville holds a 5-2 record against Pittsburgh.

The Jaguars have won three of their last four games on Thursday Night Football since 2013, including a 2-1 record against Tennessee during that span. Jacksonville's Week 14 game at Tennessee represents just its third road game on Thursday Night Football in franchise history.

TIMES ARE A CHANGIN': In 2018, the Jaguars will play five games outside the 1 p.m. ET window for the first time since 2010. The five games outside the 1 p.m. window are below.

COUGHLIN FACES GIANTS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE RE-JOINING JAGUARS IN 2017: After spending 12 seasons as the head coach of the New York Giants, Tom Coughlin re-joined the Jaguars as the team's executive vice president of football operations on Jan. 9, 2017. During his tenure with the Giants, Coughlin led the Big Blue to a 102-90 record (.531), as well as an 8-3 record (.727) in the postseason. He led the Giants to Super Bowl victories following the 2007 and 2011 seasons, both of which featured the Giants as one of the NFC's Wild Card teams. Coughlin's return to MetLife Stadium will mark his second game in East Rutherford, N.J. since returning to the Jaguars, as Jacksonville traveled to the New York Jets in Week 4 of the 2017 season (L, 20-23, OT), and his first against his former club.

JAGUARS OPEN ON THE ROAD IN EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J: The Jaguars' 2018 regular season slate will begin with a road game against the New York Giants on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. on FOX. The Jaguars are 12-11 on Kickoff Weekend, and are looking for their second consecutive Week 1 victory after defeating the Houston Texans, 29-7, last season. A win against the Giants would mark the first time the Jaguars have been victorious on Kickoff Weekend in back-to-back years since 2010 (24-17 vs. Denver) and 2011 (16-14 vs. Tennessee). The Jaguars have opened on the road 10 times in their 23-year history, and have posted a 5-5 record in those contests. The Jaguars are seeking their second consecutive road victory on Kickoff Weekend, which would mark the first time since 1997-98 that the Jaguars won on the road in Week 1 in back-to-back seasons.

JAGUARS FACE PATRIOTS IN A REMATCH OF THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: Jacksonville will play host to the Patriots for the team's home opener on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 4:25 p.m. on CBS, marking a rematch of last season's AFC Championship game. This marks the first time that the Jaguars' home opener will be played outside the 1 p.m. window since Sept. 10, 2006, when the Jaguars defeated Dallas, 24-17, at 4:15 p.m. Over the last 10 years, the two teams that played in the previous year's AFC Championship game have faced each other eight times in the following regular season, with the previous year's AFC Champion winning only three of those matchups. The Jaguars are seeking their first regular season victory against the Patriots, who currently lead the regular season series, 7-0.

SEPTEMBER IN JACKSONVILLE: The Jaguars will play three home games at EverBank Field this September, as they host New England in Week 2 (Sunday, Sept. 16 – 4:25 p.m.), Tennessee in Week 3 (Sunday, Sept. 23 – 1 p.m.) and the New York Jets in Week 4 (Sunday, Sept. 30 – 1 p.m.). The last time the Jaguars had three home games in September was during the 2001 season, when they faced Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Cleveland in Jacksonville. The 2001 season also marked the last time the Jaguars had three consecutive home games in the month of September, finishing with a 2-1 record (lost against Cleveland).

The last time that the Jaguars had three consecutive home games was December 2017, when Jacksonville won all three contests, culminating in a postseason-clinching triumph against Houston on Dec. 17.

MARRONE MAKES HIS FIRST RETURN TO BUFFALO AS THE JAGUARS' HEAD COACH: Prior to joining the Jaguars as the offensive line coach in 2015, Jaguars Head Coach Doug Marrone spent two seasons (2013-14) as the head coach for the Buffalo Bills. During his 32-game tenure with the Bills, Marrone posted a 15-17 record, and led the Bills to their first nine-win season (2014) since 2004. The Jaguars' Week 12 matchup (Sunday, Nov. 25) against the Bills will mark Marrone's first time returning to Buffalo as the head coach of the Jaguars. Marrone was formally hired to the post on Jan. 9, 2017, after spending the final two games as the interim head coach for Jacksonville during the 2016 season. During his tenure with the Jaguars, Marrone has led the team to a 11-7 regular season record, including a 10-6 record in 2017 en route to the team's first AFC South divisional title in franchise history. Marrone also made his first postseason appearance as a head coach in the NFL in 2017, leading the Jaguars to two postseason victories and advancing to the AFC Championship Game.

IN THE ZONE: The Jaguars will play 11 games in the Eastern time zone, four contests in the Central time zone and one game in Greenwich Mean Time in 2018. See below for a breakdown of the Jaguars' 2018 schedule by time zone, in addition to the team's historical record in each. This season will be the team's first without playing a game in the Mountain or Pacific time zones since 2015.

• Central Time Zone (22-42): Week 5 at Kansas City, Week 6 at Dallas, Week 14 at Tennessee and Week 17 at Houston

RACKING UP THE FREQUENT FLYER MILES: The Jaguars will travel 10,174 miles during the 2018 regular season, including eight away games and one home game in London.

PROTECT THE BANK: The Jaguars recorded their 100th regular season victory at home in a 45-7 triumph against Houston last season that secured the team's first postseason appearance since 2007. Jacksonville posted a 6-2 record at home in 2017, its most wins at home in a single season since 2007. The Jaguars have secured a home winning percentage of .750 or better in each of the seven seasons that they have qualified for the playoffs: 1996 (7-1), 1997 (7-1), 1998 (7-1), 1999 (7-1), 2005 (6-2), 2007 (6-2) and 2017 (6-2).

JAGUARS HOST THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPION EAGLES IN LONDON'S WEMBLEY STADIUM: The Jaguars will host the defending Super Bowl champions, Philadelphia, at London's historical Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network. The Jaguars own a 3-2 record against the Eagles, with Jacksonville's last win on Oct. 29, 2006 in Philadelphia. The Week 9 tilt marks the 11th time the Jaguars will face the defending Super Bowl champion, as the franchise has posted a 3-3 record in home games against the previous season's title holders.

LONDON'S SUCCESS: The Jaguars will host the Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network. Four of the eight teams that played in London in 2017 went on to win their respective divisions: New Orleans, Minnesota, L.A. Rams and Jacksonville. Each of those four teams won their game played overseas.

A total of three games will be played in London in 2018, including the Jaguars' game against Philadelphia. English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium is the site of the first game of the 2018 London schedule in Week 6 on Sunday, Oct. 14, as the Oakland Raiders host the Seattle Seahawks. Tottenham's new stadium will become the third venue to stage a regular-season game in the U.K., joining Wembley Stadium and Twickenham Stadium. Over the ensuing weeks, two additional teams will make their London debuts as visiting teams as Tennessee will face the L.A. Chargers on Oct. 21 and Philadelphia will face Jacksonville on Oct. 28.

2018 LONDON GAMES

The Jaguars, who are 3-2 in London and have won three consecutive games at London's historic Wembley Stadium, will appear in their sixth game in 2018 as part of the NFL's International Series. This marks the Jaguars' third inter-conference game in London and the first since Nov. 9, 2014, when they faced the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10 of the 2014 season (L, 17-31).

JAGUARS FACE THE NFC EAST IN 2018:This season, the Jaguars face the NFC East for the first time since 2014. Jacksonville's overall record against opponents in the NFC East is 10-13, including a 1-3 record in 2014. Jacksonville has won two of the last three contests against the New York Giants, but are seeking its first-ever win at MetLife Stadium. The Jaguars last defeated the Giants on Nov. 30, 2014, at EverBank Field, when Jacksonville rallied from 21 points down in the second quarter to capture a 25-24 win in the largest comeback in franchise history. The Jaguars have won three of their last five games against the Cowboys, including two wins at Dallas, with their last regular-season meeting occurring in London on Nov. 9, 2014. The Jaguars lead the regular season series against the Philadelphia Eagles, 3-2, including a 2-1 home record.* *The Redskins lead the regular season series against Jacksonville, 5-1. The Jaguars' lone win against Washington came at EverBank Field on Nov. 10, 2002, when they defeated the Redskins, 26-7. 

FACING PITTSBURGH FOR THE THIRD TIME IN TWO SEASONS: The Jaguars will face Pittsburgh for the 24th time in the regular season when Pittsburgh visits Jacksonville on Sunday, Nov. 18, to face the Jaguars on NBC's Sunday Night Football at 8:20 p.m. After last year's 30-9 win on Oct. 8 and a 45-42 Divisional round victory on Jan. 14, the Jaguars lead the combined regular season and postseason series against Pittsburgh, 14-11. Both wins during the 2017 regular season and postseason came at Pittsburgh's Heinz Field, making the Jaguars the only team in NFL history to defeat the Steelers twice in a season in Pittsburgh. The Jaguars have now accomplished the feat twice – 2007 and 2017.

IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN FLORIDA: Jacksonville's regular season record against intrastate teams is 7-6, and the Jaguars will travel to Miami for only the second time in franchise history in Week 16 on either Saturday, Dec. 22 or Sunday, Dec. 23. This year's game against the Dolphins marks the eighth matchup between the two teams, with Miami leading the regular season series, 4-3. In their last meeting, the Jaguars defeated the Dolphins, 23-20, on Sept. 20, 2015.

AGAINST THE AFC EAST: The Jaguars will face the AFC East in 2018 for the first time since 2015. AFC East squads lead the regular season series against Jacksonville, 25-15, including a 2-2 record in 2015. After a 20-24 loss in the AFC Championship game against the New England last season, the Jaguars' home opener against the Patriots will be on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 4:25 p.m. The Patriots lead the regular season series against the Jaguars, 7-0, and Jacksonville earned its only win – regular season or postseason -- against New England in a Wild Card game on Jan. 3, 1999 (W, 25-10). The Jaguars will face the New York Jets for a second consecutive season in Week 4 on Sunday, Sept. 30. Jacksonville is 3-1 at home against the Jets, and this year's game will mark their first meeting at EverBank Field since Dec. 9, 2012, when the Jets defeated the Jaguars, 17-10. The Jaguars will travel to Buffalo, N.Y. to face the Bills for the 15th time in franchise history on Sunday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. The Bills lead the regular season series, 8-6. Jacksonville is looking for its first road win against the Bills since capturing a 36-26 win on Oct. 10, 2010. The Jaguars have a 3-4 record when playing in Western New York.

BATTLE RED: The Jaguars defeated Houston in both regular-season matchups last season for the first time since 2013. Jacksonville swept Houston by a combined score of 74-14. In Week 1 at Houston, the Jaguars tallied a single-game franchise record 10 sacks, while All-Pro DE Calais Campbell posted a franchise-record 4.0 sacks en route to his third Pro Bowl selection. The Jaguars will face the Texans in Jacksonville on Sunday, Oct. 21 and travel to Houston for the regular season finale on Sunday, Dec. 30. Both games will kick off at 1 p.m. ET. 

INDY GIVEN SUNDAY: Jacksonville defeated Indianapolis in both matchups last season, marking the first time since 2011 that the Jaguars swept the season series against the Colts. In their last meeting in Indianapolis, the Jaguars defeated the Colts, 27-0, marking the sixth shutout in Jaguars history and the first time that Indianapolis had been blanked since Nov. 29, 1993 (vs. S.D., 0-31). The Jaguars will travel to Indianapolis in Week 10 (Sunday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. on CBS), and then face off again three weeks later in Jacksonville in Week 13 (Sunday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. on CBS).

TITAN UP: In 2017, Jacksonville went 4-2 in the division and was named the AFC South division champions. Both losses were against Tennessee and marked the first time that the Jaguars lost both divisional games against the Titans in the same season since 2008. The Jaguars will host the Titans in Week 3 in the second of three consecutive home September games on Sunday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. In Week 14, the Jaguars travel to Nashville to face the Titans on Thursday Night Football on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 8:20 p.m.
