JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars are going to be without Leonard Fournette again Sunday.
Fournette, whose absence will mark one of several changes in the Jaguars' starting offensive lineup Sunday, will miss the Jaguars' game against the Cincinnati Bengals because of what Head Coach Doug Marrone called "an infraction of a team rule."
"Leonard Fournette is not playing in today's game due to an infraction of a team rule," Marrone said in a statement 90 minutes before kickoff. "This has been addressed internally and further details will not be made public."
Fournette, the No. 4 overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft and the Jaguars' leading rusher, missed the Jaguars' last game – an October 22 victory over the Indianapolis Colts – with an ankle injury. The Jaguars had their bye week last week – the week of October 29.
Chris Ivory will start for Fournette.
The Jaguars also announced that right guard A.J. Cann will not play against the Bengals because of a triceps injury.
Starting center Brandon Linder, who missed the last three games before the bye with an illness, will start at right guard in place of Cann. Tyler Shatley, who started at center in Linder's absence, will remain at center against the Bengals.
Cam Robinson, who was listed as questionable entering the weekend with an ankle injury sustained against the Colts, will be active and start. Wide receiver Marqise Lee, listed as questionable with a knee injury entering the weekend, also will be active and start.
With Fournette out, the Jaguars have three healthy running backs: Ivory, T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant. Ivory has rushed for 209 yards and a touchdown on 57 carries this season, with Grant rushing for 105 yards on 15 carries. Yeldon rushed for 122 yards and a 58-yard touchdown against Indianapolis – the only game in which the 2015 second-round selection has been active this season.
The Jaguars deactivated five players other than Fournette and Cann Sunday. They were:
Wide receiver Jaelen Strong, cornerback Tyler Patmon, offensive lineman Josh Walker, offensive lineman William Poehls and defensive tackle Sheldon Day.
