JACKSONVILLE – Jalen Ramsey officially is a Jaguar.
That means the Jaguars' first-round selection is now signed and also means the team has just one 2016 draft selection unsigned.
Ramsey, the No. 5 overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft, on Sunday morning became the sixth '16 draft selection to sign with the team. Terms and duration of the contract were not disclosed.
Ramsey, a cornerback from Florida State University, sustained what the team termed a "small tear" recently during phase 2 on-field workouts. He is obtaining a second opinion next week and there is no timetable yet on his return.
