The "Straight Talk" program is designed to reduce the incidence of teen pregnancy and the spread of AIDS and other sexuality transmitted infections (STI's). Under the leadership of Foundation Chair and CEO, and Jaguars owner, Delores Barr Weaver, an unprecedented media partnership, including radio, newspaper, Internet sites, billboard outlets and all local television stations; collaborate to give teens and their parents candid information on sex, STI's and the consequences faced by sexually active teenagers. A major feature of Straight Talk is a televised town hall forum "Teens & Sexthe Real Truth," broadcast on all local television stations. This program aired live in 1995, 2000 and 2001, and will continue to air annually. The program includes celebrity co-hosts along with local broadcasting personalities; a guest panel of medical and legal experts; and an all-teen studio audience.

In addition, public service announcements featuring Jaguars players run on local TV stations and the Jumbotron at Jaguars home games. The Foundation also produced a teen pregnancy prevention videotape titled "Teen Sex In Their Own Words," for distribution to local agencies and schools. Finally, $500,000 in multi-year grants was awarded, in partnership with the Weaver Family Foundation, to local programs specifically dealing with teenage pregnancy and STI prevention.
